The Vortex

Bikes at the Grand Canyon

The MaNiMaL and the Trout take their bikes to ride the road along the South rim of the Grand Canyon, however, you cannot ride that rim on singletrack - but the North rim has an 18 mile mtb trail.... so head North!! pad

Granular Ice

A freezing precipitation event occured this January and deposited a coating of ice on all the trees. The next day the wind picked up, and with the temps. near freezing the ice fell from the trees & was deposited on the trail. It was like riding on ground glass, or skiing the corn...pad
